An anonymous poster informs us of a new java based multiplayer strategy game.

A new multiplayer game is available for the Linux platform. It has been tested on Fedora Core 2 and found to work like a breeze. In order to run the game you will need to install Java 1.5 first onto your Linux distribution.

Java is available from http://www.java.com.

Aevum Obscurum is a turn-based multiplayer strategy game. You will have to take control of an empire at the beginning of the 14th century, Earth. Your goal is to have absolut control within the next years to come. Your empires to choose from are among England, France, Ireland, Rome and other 50+ all over Europe.

Please go to http://www.aevumobscurum.com/original/index.jsp for screenshots and game play.
