Version 3 of Fedora Core was released this last week and is available for download. CD and DVD iso's are available.

The latest version of Fedora core includes Gnome 2.8, KDE 3.3, improved SELinux. Evolution 2.0, Firefox 1.0, Helix Player, OpenOffice 1.1.2, and more.

The goal of The Fedora Project is to work with the Linux community to build a complete, general purpose operating system exclusively from free software. RedHat, who created the project, contributes work from their engineers to the product.
