DConnect Daemon is a "Direct Connect" server, which works under Linux, *BSD, Solaris, Windows(Cygwin) and also MacOS X.

Features and Changes:
uses threads(pthread)

contains telnet management console

controls access via tcp_wrappers(libwrap)

allows to turn on forwarding for users behind NAT

allows to turn off PASSIVE mode

punishment system improvements

detecting and removing hanging users's sessions

much more difficult to make a DOS attack

increased verbosity of logs

increased stability

decreased memory leak

testing minimal number of slots and shares
