PhpNewsReader is a web based application for reading/posting messages in Usenet or private Newsgroups via HTML forms. This software is completely written in php and intend to provide HTML code compatible with most of Web Browser (like Mozilla, Konqueror, Internet Explorer, w3m, ...).

Updates since version 1.1.0:
support reading of mime attached files
support reading of uuenc attached files
spanish traduction (thx to Dani Suarez)
user authentication by database
user authentication by nis server
user authentication by passwd file
no more need of imap.so
header faces support
several minor bugs fixed
