This site is a free service to free software developers offering easy access to the best in CVS, mailing lists, bug tracking, message boards/forums, task management, site hosting, permanent file archival, full backups, and total web-based administration. This site is run by the Debian project.

Its purpose is multiple :
* provide facilities to free software projects supported by Debian developers; * make it easier for non-Debian developers to contribute to projects initiated by Debian; * support projects whose goal is to promote Debian or one of its derivatives.
