is a Java based blog, feed and RSS aggregator for
“info-junkies.” RSS is “Really Simple Syndication”, an XML format that
was created to
syndicate news, and be a means to share content on the web. In plain
English, it is a way online for you to get a quick list of the
latest story headlines from all your favorite websites and blogs all in
one place.
BlogBridge is a high-capacity RSS, Atom, OMPL, custom
alerts, blog
directory, blog search, Ajax desktop blender in one very easy-to-use,
easy-to-customize client-based tool.
BlogBridge is designed for people who are required to follow
lots of feeds, not 10 or 20, but 200 or 400. You can’t read that
much, so BlogBridge provdes lots of ways to organize, sort through,
skim and discover what’s important to you in this avalanche of
information.
Features include:
- SmartFeed, which is a special feed that returns articles
from other feeds containing user-defined keywords
- Lets you subscribe to whole reading lists dynamically. If
the reading list changes, you see those changes automatically
- Provides Expert Guide, a collection of feeds around a
specific topic that have been selected by someone who has real
