Excellent Utilities: Ulauncher – Sublime application launcher for Linux

Last Updated on May 4, 2023

Summary

Ulauncher is a really impressive utility. I love that the software learns my preferences, offering my favorites as the top options.

The software is lean and fast. It’s frugal with system resources, and very responsive. Ulauncher is desktop oriented.

You can launch web searches or search folders from the same prompt. There’s even basic calculator functions.

There’s a few features I’d love added. The main one is the ability to switch to an already running application, rather than launching a new instance.

This utility fully warrants inclusion in our Excellent Utilities series.
