The Ultimate Boot CD
The Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD) allows users to run diagnostic
tools from most CDROM drives on Intel-compatible machines, no operating
system required. The CD includes many diagnostic utilities and can also
be used to provide shared internet access or browse the web.
Ultimate Boot CD features an interface that is reminisicent of
BIOS output, so system
administrators and home users should not face any problems in
navigating around the command-line
interface. The project is mature, commencing in July 2003.
