Firefox

Firefox

Firefox for Android is a web browser for the Android platform which is built on the same technology platform as Firefox for desktop computers, just optimized for browsing on a mobile device.

Firefox has a wealth of features including Firefox Sync to bring your desktop history, bookmarks, open tabs, passwords and form data across computers and mobile devices. Add-ons let you customize the look and functionality of Firefox, and the Awesome Screen helps you get where you want to go faster.

Verdict:

Firefox for Android brings you many of the features that are available on the desktop version of Firefox. We particularly like Firefox Sync and the range and breadth of add-ons is unparalleled. It has the fastest SunSpider benchmark of any Android web browser and the latest version feels remarkably responsive at loading pages on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
