Taptu is a social news reader that puts all of the stuff that interests you into a single application. Taptu lets you add your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the content from your favorite web sites and blogs (via RSS feeds or Twitter) and transforms them into visual streams.

  • Web Watcher Streams: Taptu has 'web watcher' technology. This allows it to watch web sites that have no RSS feed and no mobile presence and turn their content into streams
  • Post a Status Update, Like and Comment from your Linkedin stream: A colleague or a friend of yours has posted something you think your own friends should know about, you can Like it or Comment on it from Taptu
  • Share with friends: Share stories with your friends on Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin
  • See full articles that friends share via Twitter and Facebook: Taptu will convert links your friends share into a full article view
  • Bookmark articles to read later, or save to Instapaper
  • Widgets for both Honeycomb and Gingerbread for your home screen. Multiple widgets configurable in several ways
  • Customize preferences such as order of the Streams, font size, Shake to refresh
  • Fast, even on slow 2G networks
