Wakfu
Wakfu is a turn-based tactical Massively Multiplayer Online
Game (MMORPG) and a television
cartoon, under development by Ankama Studio. It takes place in the same
fantasy world as Dofus, 1000 years later. Players will start a
fantastic and epic adventure. Together with their magic powers, they
either fight against the fauna and flora of the World, or tame them to
become breeders or farmers. Thanks to an icon-driven and intuitive
language, players can interact to create alliances or confront each
other in heroic fights. Each of these actions will directly and
considerably influence the economy and the rules that govern the World.
Wakfu is based on an idea where players have to keep
the world in the state that they want it. Planting and harvesting has
impact on the environment on the area you're in, as does your fights.
Wakfu will be primarily pay-to-play, with a small
free-to-play area for players to sample once it comes out of the beta
stage.
