Orchestra Control Engine
Orchestra Control Engine is an open source suite of software
components (based on Linux/RTAI) for the planning, development and
deployment of real-time control applications for industrial machines
and robots. Develop
real-time control applications for machines, robots, cells and
industrial plants
The suite is equipped with powerful and advanced graphic
programming tools for both the programming of Motion Control algorithms
and the development of machine logics in a PLC environment. Orchestra
includes the most common fieldbusses.
Features include:
- Based on an open source framework
- Highly modular
- Distributed - run software on different and remote hardware
resources
- Scalable - solve problems of different complexities
- Reconfigurable - modify the system parameters both offline
and at runtime
- Visual approach of the development environment - design and
simulate the Motion Control algorithms with simulation systems
- Bspline and NURBS Interpolation Modules
- CanOpen
- Cartesian Interpolation Modules
- CNC Framework
- Compensation Modules
- Kinematics Modules
- LogicProgramming
- Mechatrolink
- PLCLib
- Profibus
