Parley

Parley

Parley is a utility to help train vocabulary when learning a foreign language. This application is intended as a replacement for flashcards.

Parley features different tests, including written, multiple choice, gender of nouns, comparison forms, conjugations. Example sentences can be used to create fill in the gap tests.

The software uses the flash card learning approach

Parley is very flexible software. It automatically keeps track of your learning progress. With Parley you can arrange your vocabulary as you wish, you create your own lessons as needed. But unlike real flashcards you can use different learning methods with Parley.

This package is part of the KDE 4 education module.
