TestDisk
TestDisk is a powerful open source data recovery software.
The software was designed to help recover lost partitions
and/or
make non-booting disks bootable again when these symptoms are caused by
faulty software, certain types of viruses or human error (such as
accidentally wiping a Partition Table).
TestDisk is a tool that checks the partition and boot sectors
of your disks.
The software supports a number of different operating systems
including Linux, BSD (FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD), Mac OS X, SunOS,
Microsft Windows, and DOS.

Novell Storage Services (NSS), ReisterFS, Sun Solaris, Unix File System
UFS and UFS2, XFS (SGI's Journaled File System)
