KDE Education Project
The KDE Education Project was started in July 2001. The goal
of the project is to develop Free Educational Software (GPL licence)
within the KDE environment. This software is mainly aimed to schools,
to students and
to parents at home as well as to adults willing to extend their
knowledge.
KDE-Edu offers a wide range of applications from
language-building apps like Kanagram and KWordQuiz to math-related ones
such as KAlgebra and
KBruch to blinken and KTurtle that fall under the Miscellaneous
Edutainment category.
The KDE Education Suite is part of a standard
installation of KDE 4.
