Mambo (formerly named
Mambo Open Source or MOS) is a free, open
source content management system for creating and managing
websites through a simple web interface.
This sofware can be used for everything from simple websites
to complex corporate applications. It is used to power
government portals, corporate
intranets and extranets, ecommerce sites, nonprofit, schools,
church, and community sites.
It is written with the PHP
programming language and uses the
MySQL
database.
