YaKuake
Yakuake is a
drop-down terminal emulator based on KDE
Konsole technology.
Running Yakuake is faster than launching a new terminal with a
keyboard shortcut
because the program is already resident in memory. This software is
therefore
useful for people who frequently find themselves opening and
closing terminals
for odd tasks.
It is a very simple utility that enhances productivity.
