Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a multiplayer first-person
shooter video game mixing Enemy Territory and Quake 4. It is
the follow up to Wolftenstein:
Enemy Territory.
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is the ultimate strategic shooter:
an objective-driven, class-based First Person Shooter set in the Quake
universe. In the battle for planet Earth, you must choose your side and
your role in the battle.
Both sides aren't just reskins of the other but feature
original classes, vehicles and abilities.
Quake Wars is a class-based game. There are two opposing
teams; the
GDF (Global Defense Force), who are human, and the Strogg, an alien
race that is invading Earth. For each side there are five classes, and
while these classes are essentially the same on both sides, there are
small variations in the way they perform as well as differences in
names. The classes of Global Defense Force consist of Soldier, Medic,
Engineer, Field Ops, and Covert Ops. The corresponding Strogg classes
are Aggressor, Technician, Constructor, Oppressor, and Infiltrator
respectively.
Troops use more than 40 conventional and futuristic vehicles,
deployable structures, and defense systems like
quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for epic ground assaults; or
helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air.
Throughout each battle, teams establish bases, deploy defense
structures, artillery, radar, and advanced forward-command systems into
enemy territory while constructing and demolishing obstacles to speed
progress and gain a tactical advantage over the enemy.
