Lazarus

Lazarus

Lazarus is a cross platform visual Integrated Development Environment (IDE) which provides a Rapid Application Development (RAD) Delphi clone for Pascal and Object Pascal developers.  Lazarus is the class libraries for Free Pascal that emulate Delphi.

Lazarus comes with the Lazarus Component Library (LCL), which contains platform independent visual components like buttons, windows, checkbox, treeview and much more. The LCL is platform independent, so you can write an application once and then compile for various platforms without changing code.

It is developed for and supported by the Free Pascal compiler.
