Songbird

Songbird

Songbird is a complete desktop media player or "jukebox" with a uniquely open approach to Internet digital media network services. Songbird views web pages as dynamic playlists to play, save, download or subscribe to.

Songbird plays your music too with all the features you’d expect in a desktop media player.

Like Firefox, Songbird's features may be improved with user installed and contributed cross-platform extensions.  These include Qloud Tagging & Search, eMusic Integration, iTunes Importer, iPod Device, Artist Tracker, Library File Organizer, Audioscrobbler Notifier, Wikipedia Artist Display, SHOUTcast Radio Directory, UnPlug, Adblock Plus, Taglib metadata handler and Minimize-to-Systemtray.

Previous software written by the developers of Songbird include Winamp and the Yahoo! Music Engine.
