Helix Player
The Helix Player is
an open source media player for Linux, Solaris, and Symbian based on
the Helix DNA Client media
engine. It includes a Mozilla browser plug-in and supports
local file playback and streaming over RTSP/RTP and HTTP.
Helix Player only plays open source formats like Ogg Vorbis
and Theora.
The Helix Player is an open source, collaborative effort.
Helix DNA Client powers many digital media applications,
including
RealPlayer for Linux (since version 10), RealPlayer Mobile, and Helix
Player. It is used on Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson mobile
phones.
