About Frugalware

Frugalware Linux is an independently developed general purpose desktop Linux distribution designed for intermediate users, who enjoy using the console. It follows simple Slackware-like design concepts and includes the "pacman" package management utility from Arch Linux.

Frugalware is designed for intermediate users. It has a current and a stable branch. The current branch is updated daily, and the developers update the stable branch around every 6 months.
