    Nutch is open source web-search software. It builds on Lucene Java, adding web-specifics, such as a crawler, a link-graph database, parsers for HTML and other document formats, etc.

    nagios-check_sip is a Nagios plugin to check SIP servers and devices.
  • NetStat
    NetStat is a mod_perl and postgresql web tool written to assist with tracking network devices and subnet information.
  • Network Query Tool
    Network Query Tool (NQT) is a one-stop solution for getting information about a domain or IP address. Instead of manually using different Unix commands or visiting numerous Web sites to investigate a host, just load Network Query Tool and enter the hostname or IP. NQT does the rest. As well as the .com, .net, and .org TLDs, it supports .name, .cc, .us, .ws, .info, and .biz TLDs.
  • nWorks
    nWorks is a Web-based network management system (NMS). It allows you to view device status, creates graphs, and produces various kinds of reports from data gathered through SNMP polling. It is written in PHP4 and uses MySQL as a backend database.

  • PersonalSearchProxy
    PersonalSearchProxy is a program that caches the Web pages you browse and allows you to quickly search through your viewing history and view pages as you saw them then. It is like a combination between the Internet Archive and a search engine, but only for the pages you've seen. Implemented as an HTTP proxy, it is compatible with all Web browsers.

    a PHP command line program which allows you to execute programs and system commands at certain scheduled times

    phpRemoteShell is an application that allows you to execute shell commands and PHP code on a remote host over HTTP.
  • phpUserManager
    a Web-based utility for small ISPs or system administrators that need to keep track of their user base. It uses one database with centralized configuration, and allows you to set active or inactive user status
  • qrpyto
    qrypto provides an easy mechanism to implement the Blowfish cipher within Perl, PHP, and Python. The methods used are compatible across the three languages. For example, a file encrypted with the qrypto Python module can be decrypted by the qrypto modules in PHP or Perl.

    REJIK is a Web filtering system consisting of a Squid redirector and ban lists. It is fast and easy.
  • Rx4RDF
    Rx4RDF is a set of technologies designed to make W3C's RDF less complex and easier to use. It includes RxPath, which enables one to use familar XML technologies like XPath, XSLT, and XUpdate to query, transform and update an RDF model, Raccoon, an application server that uses an RDF model for its data store and RxPath to translate arbitrary requests to RDF resources, and ZML and RxML, alternative text formats for XML and RDF that were designed to allow novices to write XML and RDF with (nearly) the same ease as a Wiki entry.

    created to provide an extendable high performance Network Management System with network discovery, monitoring and detailed reporting capabilities that keep up to date with a living network. As new devices and interfaces are added or removed from your network, the changes are automatically detected and handled
  • Skycache
    Skycache is a free, lightweight and fast page cache for PHP 4 and PHP 5. Once a dynamic page has been computed, it is stored in a page cache. If a query for the same URL is made afterwards, the content is immediately served from the cache instead of processing the script again. The end result is a significant speedup and a slightly reduced server load.
  • TorrentParse
    a PHP script that parses bittorrent torrent files using Open Source BDecode and BEncode Libraries. TorrentParse GTK has also been released and it features a full cross-compatible GUI
  • Websize
    Websize is a complete URL sizing solution. It reads in a page through HTTP, checks it for dependencies and other inlines, and generates size information and statistics by content-type and HTTP response code.
  • WebSubmit
    WebSubmit is a Web-based utility providing access to applications on a collection of heterogeneous computing resources. Its goal is to make it easy to use computing resources via the Web without requiring knowledge of the specifics of unfamiliar operating systems and dynamic application environments.
  • WebTTY
    The WebTTY package allows any Linux terminal processes to be controlled via a text area HTML element on a Web page. The output from the server process is collected on the server side, and is sent to a textarea element. Keypresses in the textarea are collected on the client side and sent to the server process. WebTTY uses AJAX/DHTML patterns to achieve in-page updates without refreshing the entire page.
