Liferea is a simple FeedReader clone for Unix distributions with GNOME2. It is a news aggregator for RSS/RDF feeds which also supports CDF channels, Atom/Echo/PIE feeds and OCS directories. Read more

    Calf is a set of audio effect plugins, compatible with audio technologies popular in Linux and other open-source operating systems. Currently, three plugins are available (flanger, reverb, and multimode filter). All of these plugins are available in LADSPA format (complete with RDF description file) and as separate JACK client application with a GTK+2 based GUI.
  • Evolutif Audio Engine
    Evolutif Audio Engine is a cross-platform audio engine intended to handle all low level processing of audio data for high quality audio applications. Support for 196khz, 32-bit floating pt. data processing, file load/save, synths/effects (integrated/plugin).
  • Fische
    Fische aims to provide standalone sound visualisation. Therefore, unlike other programs, that are plugins, fische does not need a specific parent program to run.
  • gst-polyp
    gst-polyp is a GStreamer sink for the polypaudio sound server.
  • GStreamer Base Plug-ins
    GStreamer Base Plug-ins is a well-groomed and well-maintained collection of GStreamer plug-ins and elements, spanning the range of possible types of elements one would want to write for GStreamer. It also contains helper libraries and base classes useful for writing elements. A wide range of video and audio decoders, encoders, and filters are included.
  • Lemux
    Lemux is a set of GPL LADSPA instruments that are partially based on code from the openMSX MSX emulator. SID emulation uses the resid SID engine as used by sidplay2.
  • livetools
    livetools is a small set of utilities to allow easy access to Creative's SoundBlaster Live!Drive IR's remote control. Included is an XMMS plugin which demonstrates the functionality of the decode daemon - liveird.
  • Musicextras
    Musicextras is a program for automatically retrieving extra information for songs. Currently, it can download lyrics and cover art, but site plugins allow developers to easily add new features.
  • pvoc
    pvoc is a collection of LADSPA units and a command line tool for time compression/expansion of sound data making use of the phase-vocoding technique.
  • SWH Plugins
    SWH Plugins is a set of audio plugins for the LADSPA plugin system.
  • TAP Plugins
    Tom's Audio Processing plugins: a selection of LADSPA plugins for audio engineering on the Linux platform. Intended for use in a professional DAW environment such as Ardour, it includes high quality reverberation, echo, eq, limiter & more
  • WASP
    The Wave Sculpting Plugins (WASP) is a set of LADSPA plugins which includes both processors and generators. While being pretty simple and not CPU-hungry, they incorporate such interesting algorithms as a multi-mode wave shaper, noisifier, clipping booster and variable noise source. All the plugins are freely available and can be modified/distributed under the terms and conditions of the GNU General Public License.
