    amaroK is a media player for KDE. It is based on the aRts multimedia framework to play audio and video, and features a fresh and efficient approach to playlist handling.It supports the GStreamer, xine, NMM, MAS and aRts backends, has automatic play-statistics generation (iRate style), and has a 10 band equalizer.   • Mediatool
    Mediatool is a system for playing various types of multimedia objects. It is part of the KDE project. With Mediatool you can play media types such as Digital audio, Soundtracker modules, Sidplay tunes, Midi music etc.
  • Minirok
    Minirok is a small music player written in Python for the K Desktop Environment. As its name hints, it's modelled after Amarok, but with a reduced set of features. In particular, it is designed to cover all the needs and wishes of the author, leaving everything else out. The look and feel is almost identical to Amarok's, though.
  • Noatun
    Noatun is the ultimate media player for WAV, MP3, OggVorbis, MPEG-1, and DivX. It's for KDE 3. Noatun features audio effects, a six-band graphic equalizer, a full plugin architecture, network transparency, and several KDE (and not so KDE) look and feels.
  • Partyman
    Partyman is a simple double-deck audio player that keeps on playing as long as it's running. If it finds entries in its own playlist, these are played, otherwise random tracks are chosen. It also crossfades between the tracks automatically. The main purpose for this program is providing some background music for a party, respecting requests. It is based upon Qt4 and uses DerMixD as a backend.
