    an application written in python, which allows the sending and receiving of files and calling command lines via email
  • avelsieve
    a Squirrelmail plugin for creating SIEVE scripts on a Cyrus IMAP server that runs timsieved (Tim's SIEVE daemon)
  • barrendero
    designed to free up disk space in the mail spool directory. It accomplishes this by deleting messages older than a certain age. Users get warned about messages soon to be deleted and gets a report of the erased mails

    takes the contents of a maildir and pumps the messages one-by-one through a shell command of your choosing

    a package containing customizeable network front-ends for mail servers. Right now the only protocols that are handled are SMTP and POP3, but it may be extended to deal with QMQP, QMTP, and potentially IMAP

    pgen is a little tool that uses m4(1) and some macros to help build and maintain a procmailrc file.
  • Poogle
    Poogle is a simple POP3 proxy for Google's GMAIL service. This service allows users of popular POP3 clients (Evolution, KMail, Outlook) to view Gmail mail in their favorite clients.
  • pop2imap
    pop2imap is a tool for facilitating incremental POP to IMAP transfers from one mailbox to another. It is useful for mailbox migration, and reduces the amount of data transferred by only copying messages that are not present on both servers. The process can be stopped and resumed. The original messages can optionally be deleted after a successful transfer.
  • PopFlush
    cleans all messages out of your POP3 mailbox. It can be run from the command line, or as a CGI program on your web server
  • pushmail
    aims to be the opposite of fetchmail. It can be used to push email messages to an smtp server without the need of configuring the local MTA
  • serialmail
    a collection of tools for passing mail across serial links. It works with qmail: you use qmail to deliver messages to a maildir, and then serialmail to deliver messages out of the maildir
  • sgalaPOP3
    fetchs the number of messages on a configured mailbox via POP3 and you can view the sizes of all messages and you can delete it
  • Shared-mailbox
    distributes incoming mail for multiple local users of a domain received externally through a single shared mailbox
  • sift
    The sift IMAP client is a simple scriptable tool which allows you to carry out a number of operations against the messages maintained on a remote IMAP server. Using simple rules chained together, you may select messages of interest and apply various operations to them.
  • valiases
    mimics the sendmail behaviour of evaluating aliases for mail sent to one or more virtual mail addresses. It checks whether any of the (visibly) addressed mail accounts of a mail matches one of the configured aliases and resends mail to the alias replacement
  • vpopmail
    a free GPL software package that provides an easy way to manage virtual domains on a qmail mail server
  • vthrottle
    an implementation of a rate throttling mechanism for mail bourne worms and viruses
