    Anatomic P2P is an attempt at a true decentralised BitTorrent Network. It works on a (supernode) caching system based on Gnutella GWebCache with modified FBT2 trackers written in PHP and a modified BitTornado client written in Python.

    BitTorrent++ is a client for the BitTorrent peer-to-peer file sharing solution. Based on the original BitTorrent software, it is also written in Python using wxPython for the GUI, thus allowing it to run on Win32 as well as Linux-like platforms.

    BTG is a bittorrent daemon implemented in C++ and using the libtorrent library. It provides an ncurses UI, a gtkmm GUI, and a Web interface, which communicate with a common backend running the actual bittorrent operation.

    createtorrent is a small and fast command line utility for all Linux and Unix operating systems to create BitTorrent files easily. BitTorrent files can be created from either one file or a collection of files that are grouped together into a directory.
  • Deluge
    Deluge is a full-featured BitTorrent client. It features a rich plugin collection and was created with the intention of being lightweight and unobtrusive. It works well under any desktop environment.
  • EZtorrent
    EZtorrent is a tool that simplifies the process of publishing content via BitTorrent. EZtorrent automates the process of generating .torrent metainfo files, as well as starting trackers and seeders.
  • Gnome BitTorrent Downloader
    Gnome BitTorrent Downloader is a work-in-progress Gnome "mime-sink" for BitTorrent files. It's not meant to be an entire front-end, just a program that pops up when you "execute" the torrent files.

    GSTorrent is a Bittorrent client/server system. A daemon program handles all the file transfers as a Bittorrent client. The GSTorrent daemon also acts as a server for an external GUI client. The objective is to have a relatively small Bittorrent client, which runs on a small computer without a graphical interface and to control this server from a different machine.
  • GTorrentViewer
    GTorrentViewer is a GTK2-based viewer and editor for BitTorrent meta files. It is able to retrieve information from trackers, check files, show detailed information, and modify .torrent files without having to start downloading.
  • iTorrent
    iTorrent allows you to download BitTorrent podcasts from iTunes. It transforms BitTorrent podcasts so that you can update them just like any other podcast in iTunes.

    LH-ABC is a multi platform BitTorrent client based on ABC.
  • Lincetorrent
    Lince is a BitTorrent client that uses libtorrent to handle the BitTorrent protocol and gtkmm for the interface. It has been designed to be a light and full-featured client.
  • qBittorrent
    qBittorrent is a Qt bittorrent client based on libtorrent. It is stable and featureful, with low CPU/memory usage. It features multiple simultaneous downloads, DHT (Trackerless) support, connection through a proxy, selective downloading (only some files in a torrent), downloading in order, Audio/Video file previewing while downloading, tracker authentication, an integrated search engine (as in eMule), downloads from URLs, translations in many languages (20+), torrent creation, Upload/Download limitations, Unicode support, an IP filter (eMule format), and directory scanning (adding torrents automatically).
  • RwdTorrent
    A BitTorrent client. It can view metafile information locally or over HTTP. Torrent files can be downloaded.
  • sharktorrent
    sharktorrent is a cross-platform BitTorrent client. It is written in C++ using wxWidgets and Arvid Norberg's libtorrent.
  • Tairent
    Tairent is a minimalistic BitTorrent client for Linux servers. This means that it has no GUI, TUI, or CLI. Instead, it provides an effective way for serving large files using the BitTorrent protocol. One of the key features is that Tairent tries to minimize data copying in memory by using mmap for mapping files into memory and then sending them directly to the peer.
  • Torrent Bubbles
    Torrent Bubbles is an easy-to-use BitTorrent utility program which can search for torrents on the Web. The main goal of Torrent Bubbles is simplicity, with only a search bar, two buttons, and the ability to double click a search result (to launch a download).
  • Torrent Swapper
    Torrent Swapper is a sociable peer to peer file-sharing client based on the BitTorrent protocol. Torrent Swapper boasts unique features like Amazon-like recommendations to get interesting files, doubling the download speed by using the upload capacity of friends, real-time P2P file sharing with P2P video streaming, and showing the locations of seeders and leechers of the same content with city-level accuracy on a world map.
  • TorrentInfo
    TorrentInfo is a simple command-line tool that parses .torrent files and provides a summary of their contents.
  • TorrentSniff
    TorrentSniff is a command line Perl program that reads a BitTorrent .torrent file from the local file system or from a URL and reports on the status of the torrent.
  • torrentutils
    torrentutils is a set of utilities for managing BitTorrent (`.torrent') files and interactiving with BitTorrent trackers.
  • trackerbt
    A BitTorrent tracker with additional distributed functionality. Multiple trackers can exchange changes in peer lists, thereby splitting the load between each other.
  • Unworkable
    Unworkable is a BitTorrent implementation written as an asynchronous, single-threaded application in ANSI C using libevent and mmap() for performance.
