    QuteCom (formerly WengoPhone) is a multi-platform VoIP client. The GUI is Qt-based, and the Video-over-IP engine is based on the eXosip, oSIP, oRTP, ffmpeg, and libgaim projects. The eXosip module is extended by a phApi module, which implements a high-level, easy-to-use call control API. It supports PC-to-PC voice, video, and chat.     ANT is a desktop ISDN telephony application written for GNU/Linux. It supports OSS (Open Sound System) and I4L (ISDN4Linux). Its user interface was made for GTK+ 2.x (GIMP toolkit). It directly interfaces OSS and ISDN devices, so there is no need to install extra software or hardware like PBX (Private Branch Exchange) or telephony cards, if you've got direct access to an audio capable ISDN card (teles or HiSax chipset, e.g. AVM Fritz Card) and a full duplex soundcard or two sound devices.

    BoxMonster is a call monitor designed to work with the AVM FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 and compatible models. It shows incoming and outgoing calls as a balloon message in your desktop's system tray. It works on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and modern Linux desktops like KDE or GNOME.

    btcid connects to a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth-telephone and displays status on screen using libxosd.
  • Caiviar
    Caiviar is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System based on CAPI. It runs on Linux and Windows systems, and supports Text-To-Speech (most notably Realspeak and Festival), multithreading, Barge In, 3 Party Conference, G3 Fax etc.

    callintegrator lets you call someone via your normal phone just by clicking on the phone number in your address book, e.g. kaddressbook.
  • CCFaudio
    CCFaudio is a multi-user Internet conferencing phone that is available in source and binaries. It features mixing of multiple voices, high sound quality, no need for MBONE capability, and is very easy to set up conferences with the included CCFringer.
  • chan-sccp-b
    chan-sccp-b is an extension of the original chan-sccp implementation for the Asterisk soft-PBX.
    CHAN_NMS is an Asterisk PBX channel driver that supports the NMS Communications (acquired by Dialogic) Open Access line of products, which includes E1/T1 boards for the PCI(-X), PCIe, and cPCI(e) buses.
  • CPhone
    CPhone is a cross platform voip client which uses the H323 protocol. It compiles and runs on Linux, BSD, Windows and Mac (OS X) boxes. It is based on the libraries from and Trolltech.
  • CVM
    CVM, the CAPI Voice Mail system, provides a replacement for Vgetty that runs natively on the Linux CAPI interface. It provides basically the same functionality as Vgetty and can be scripted using a Perl module. CVM allows you to easily turn your Linux box with CAPI-driven ISDN cards into an answering machine.
  • Decibel
    Decibel is a realtime communication framework based on Telepathy. It is meant to integrate VoIP, text chat, CTI (computer telephone integration), and similar applications into the user's desktop. Decibel consists of a desktop neutral policy daemon called Houston and desktop specific components for user interaction.
  • Efone
    Efone is a distributed internet phone system. It features a voice sending/receiving client (aka internet phone) and a central server (administered via the web) where users information (name, nick, password, current ip) are stored.
  • El Cid
    El Cid is a little Caller ID logger for linux. It just sits on your modem waiting for something to happen, checks it, then prints it out. All records are logged to a file in csv format so you can easily parse it for logging into a database, viewing on a web via cgi, or whatever ya want.
  • erikyyyphone
    erikyyyphone is an internet audio conferencing application that uses little bandwidth.
  • Floola
    Floola is a freeware application to efficiently manage your iPod or your Motorola mobile phone (any model supporting iTunes) under Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. It can be run directly from your iPod and needs no installation.
  • fonmon
    fonmon is a remote fon monitor via i4l. With a server for your gateway and a client for your workstations. You can easily monitor all incoming calls through various clients with features like highlighting, logging and number / name exchange.
  • Free Phone
    Free Phone is an audio tool for the Internet developed by members of the High-Speed Networking group at INRIA.
  • FreeSentral
    FreeSentral is a full IP PBX consisting of a Linux Distribution, an IP PBX and a Web Graphical User Interface for easy configuration.
  • FreeSWITCH
    FreeSWITCH is an open source telephony platform designed to facilitate the creation of voice and chat driven products scaling from a soft-phone up to a soft-switch. It can be used as a simple switching engine, a media gateway or a media server to host IVR applications using simple scripts or XML to control the callflow. Read more
  • Gammu
    Gammu is a manager for various cellular phones and modems. It currently supports Nokia 3210, 33xx, 3410, 3510, 51xx, 5210, 5510, 61xx, 62xx, 63xx, 6510, 7110, 82xx, 8310, 9110, and 9210, and AT devices (such as Siemens, Alcatel, WaveCom, IPAQ, and other).
  • Gastman
    Gastman is a graphical Manager interface for Asterisk. It uses the GTK+ library, and so is usually run under X Windows, although GTK+ environments also exist for Windows and Mac OS X.
  • GBTcr
    GNOME Bluetooth control remoto is meant to be a fast and functional remote control for GNOME Desktop working between a Sony Ericsson phone mobile (maybe others) and computer box using Bluetooth communication protocol.

    Gnome2Mtel sends messages to the customers of Mtel - a Bulgarian gsm operator.

    GNOME BluePhone is a GNOME applet to allow you to remotely adminster a bluetooth-enabled mobile phone from your desktop and also to control your desktop from your mobile phone.
  • GNOME Phone Manager

    Gnome-o-phone is an internet telephone that supports full duplex voice conversations. It requires the GSM compression library.

    GNU SIP Witch is a pure SIP-based office telephone call server that supports generic phone system features like call forwarding, hunt groups and call distribution, call coverage and ring groups, holding, and call transfer, as well as offering SIP specific capabilities such as presence and messaging.

    gPhoneMan is a generic phone manager released under the GNU General Public License. gPhoneMan's main purpose is to make it easier to keep track of who is calling and for how long.
  • gsm-ussd
    gsm-ussd is a small command line utility to send USSD queries via your UMTS or GSM modem.
  • gspeakfreely
    gspeakfreely is a VoIP system with a flexible component system. It implements a set of audio processing components which can be connected to each other or mixed together. The most important components are net in/output, which implement VoIP functionality and the OSS-DSP in/output component.
  • GV Mirror
    GV Mirror is a Python script which downloads all the Google Voice messages in a user's account. It downloads SMS messages, voicemails, and details of missed, received, and placed calls.
  • Harald Scan
    Harald Scan is a Bluetooth discovery scanner. It determines Major and Minor device classes according to the Bluetooth SIG specification and attempts to resolve a device's MAC address to the largest known vendor/MAC address list.

    IHU is a Voice over IP (VoIP) application for Linux, that creates an audio stream between two computers in the easiest way and with the minimal traffic on the network. Features include: Peer-to-Peer, UDP/TCP support, good audio performance, crypted stream, and command-line support.
  • inq1linux
    inq1linux aims to provide Linux software for communicating with and expanding the INQ1 mobile phone. It allows the phone to be connected as a USB modem, previously only possible with the Windows/Mac proprietary drivers.

    IWar is a "war dialer" used for auditing your PSTN (phone) network. Features include random/sequential dialing, ASCII flat file and MySQL logging, a curses-based front end, key stroke marking, multiple modem support, several methods of "tone detection", save/load state, banner detections (to determine remote system types), blacklist support, and much more.
