xmcd
Xmcd is a full-featured CD Player and Ripper software package. It includes two programs: xmcd - for the X window system using the Motif® graphical user interface and cda - a shell command-line utility which also features a curses-based, screen-oriented mode. Xmcd supports CD recognition via Gracenote CDDB®. It can connect to the CDDB servers on the Internet to get the artist, disc title, song titles and other information about the CD you're playing.

    KDE Interactive Geometry is a program for exploring geometric constructions. It is meant as a better replacement for such free programs as KGeo and KSeg, and commercial programs like Cabri.

    KLearnNotes2 helps learning music notes' names. It features a neat interface, a quick learning algorithm and a flexible exercise choice.
  • ksociograma
    ksociograma is technical software for teachers. You can make sociograms, a 2-D network sociological diagram, for a students group. It is very useful to know the group and prevention. This version is a stable version, but only with traslations to english and spanish.

    Little Wizard is a development environment for children. Project is created especially for primary school children. It allows program Little Wizard without using keyboard, only mouse. It works under Linux and Windows 2000/XP.

    MemAid is like a traditional flash-card program to help you memorise question/answer pairs, but with an important twist: it uses a neural network to schedule the best time for an item to come up for review.

    Meteach is a free and open-source learning program. It's made in C++ with FLTK and licensed GPL.
  • mnemo memorization tool
    mnemo memorization tool is an application that helps the user memorize large amounts of arbitrary information and retain it indefinitely. Items are drilled at progressively longer intervals to allow for new ones.
  • Mnemosyne Project
    The Mnemosyne software resembles a traditional flash card program to help you memorize question/answer pairs, but with an important twist: it uses a sophisticated algorithm to schedule the best time for a card to come up for review.
