It features infinite image size with infinite anti-aliasing if you have the memory for it, Julia instant preview mode, user-specified coloring algorithms and PNG support. For palette files it uses the same format as Fractint does, except that it supports arbitraly large palettes. gkII gkII - Mandelbrot Munger is yet another Mandelbrot fractal image generator. But, instead of just being plain happy with the mandelbrot calculations it does some more calculations developed with the artistic eye in mind. These calculations act like a mask, revealing, concealing, and augementing the original M-Set. glfract glfract loads fractal {Mandelbrot, Julia} sets from file as specified by David Eyerman's Eyefract v0.56-1 and displays them in 3D space with OpenGL/Glut. gmandel Gmandel is a program for exploring intricate and beautiful details of the Mandelbrot set, the classic fractal image. It begins with the common graphic of the mandelbrot set, from which you can select portions with click-and-drag for enhancement. You can set the number of colors per iteration, and the iteration limit. Gnofract 4D Gnofract 4D is a program which allows you to create beautiful mathematically-based images called fractals. What sets it apart from other fractal programs (and makes it "4D") is the way that it treats the Mandelbrot and Julia sets as different views of the same four-dimensional fractal object. This allows you to create images which are a cross between the two sets and explore their inter-relationships. Read more Gnomechaos Gnomechaos is a simple fractal program which renders images like Chaossope. It renders fractals including flames, render solid images and flames in anaglyph mode. IEFMIRASHOW IEFMIRASHOW displays a selection of dust-type mira fractals one after the other in color, rather like a slideshow. jrMandel jrMandel is a command line, parallel Mandelbrot set fractal renderer. It is specially designed to render high-resolution fractal images taking advantage of parallel processing, either by using multiple threads of execution (and thus suitable to run on multi-core processors) or by using a Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) to distribute the tasks among the nodes of a computer cluster. jrMandel can also render fractals without using any parallelism, in order to compare the efficiency between parallel and non-parallel runs. KFourier Fourier is a X11 / KDE based image processing program that use the Fourier transform to use multiple filters on an image, it works on Linux, BSD, and other unices. kmandel An easy to use and powerful fractal generator. Koch Curve Generator A simple Koch curve generator written in C++, featuring interactive point editing. L-system Explorer L-system Explorer is a program used for viewing and creating L-system fractals. It has over 500 builtin L-systems, with the ability to create and save your oen L-systems.
