The Italian firm CompuMaster has introduced a compact thin client that runs Linux. The "Praim Ino" can be mounted on the back of a monitor, draws just six Watts, and comes with a variety of client software, the company says.

  • Mistral
    In Mistral, you control a group of people and their resources in your aim to conquer the world. You start with only a castle, and from there you can order the construction of other buildings and build a transport network. Your citizens will set to work, transporting resources on your network, building buildings and gathering resources.
  • Motti
    Motti is a simple multiplayer, networked strategy game. The objective of the game is to conquer enemies' capitals by occupying and encircling their territories. The game map is an array of square cells.
  • Plasma EBG
    Plasma EBG is an empire building game in isometric view. It will run in multiple resolutions with graphics being sampled better for higher resolutions.
  • Ptkei
    The Python/Tk Empire Interface is a graphical front end to the Wolfpack Empire server. Ptkei (the client's nickname) provides a powerful graphics based interface to what would otherwise be a purely terminal based game.

    This program is almost a text version of the Galactic Konquest(in KDE game package). it will be written mostly in c++ and uses pthreads and ncurses. It would also support network gaming which is its main difference from konquest.

    Empire is a simulation of a full-scale war between two emperors, the computer and you. Naturally, there is only room for one, so the object of the game is to destroy the other. The computer plays by the same rules that you do. This game is the ancestor of all the multiplayer Empire simulations out there.
  • World Domination
    The World Domination Project is a Real Time Strategy game inspired by the board game Axis and Allies utilizing the Stratagus engine. It will emphasize strategy and not "see who can build the most units the fastest." Resources are not gathered like in other RTS's, rather they are distributed after a fixed interval of time based on how much land a player occupies.
  • Xconq
    Xconq is a general strategy game system. It is a complete system that includes all the components: a portable engine, graphical interfaces for Unix/Linux/X11, Macintosh, and Windows, multiple AIs, networking for multi-player games, and an extensive game library.
