Little thin client runs Linux
The Italian firm CompuMaster has introduced a compact thin client that runs Linux. The "Praim Ino" can be mounted on the back of a monitor, draws just six Watts, and comes with a variety of client software, the company says.

Kate is a multi document editor, based on a rewritten version of the kwrite editing widget of KDE, offering all the features of that plus a bunch of its own. Kate has been been moved to the kdebase package, and is a builtin part of your favorite desktop since release 2.2. Being a native KDE application, Kate is of course born with networking transparency, as well as it integrates with the outstanding features of KDE. Editors and support programs are also available to get a very customizable and expandable simulator. OpenGL is used for rendering.
  • Soul Ride
    Soul Ride is a physics-based snowboarding sim, with an advanced terrain engine designed for rendering real-world locations.
  • T1 Car Racing Simulation
    T1 Car Racing Simulation is primarily meant to be fun to play, not to be a full-featured exercise in physics. Expect a solid physics model with a lot of action and some cool graphics.
  • VDrift
    VDrift is a cross-platform, open source driving simulation made with drift racing in mind. It's powered by the excellent Vamos physics engine. It is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2.
  • Virtual Jay Peak
    Virtual Jay Peak is a simulation of snowboarding at the Jay Peak resort in Vermont. The terrain is based on geological survey data of the mountain and surrounding area, with the addition of signature trails and buildings. The software is based on the extreme backcountry snowboarding game Soul Ride.
  • zeRace
    The aim of this car game is very simple: do the best time on each track. zeRace uses the SDL library.
  • ZRacer
    ZRacer is a console car racing game. It has a curses based semi-graphical interface, a random track generator, editable settings, and supports hotseat multiplayer. The rules are simple: the higher on the screen, the faster you ride. Don't crash into rocks, curbs, or your opponent, and be the first across the finish line.
