The player takes command in the game of a bunch of small animals and has to guide them around in levels.     Heroes is similar to the "Tron" and "Nibbles" games of yore, but includes many graphical improvements and new game features. There are five game modes available. Quest is the classical Nibbles, in Death Match you start with very long tails and must kill your opponents, in Kill'em All you must run over lemmings moving on the ground, in Time Cash or Color modes you must collect money or pyramids of color. Heroes features 12 original sound tracks, 94 levels (in 10 different tile sets) plus a level editor.

  • TecnoballZ
    A "brick breaker" game that was originally written for the Amiga platform. The aim is to break all the blocks in each level. The game is divided into Areas which are divided into Levels. Between some levels, you have to defeat a guardian to pass to the next level. When passing an Area, a new edge is open. You can buy weapons and bonuses between levels with the money earned during the game.
  • The Bub's Brothers
    A multi-player networked clone of the classical Bubble Bobble board game. Throw bubbles at monsters and collect dozens of different bonuses before your co-players!

    In Untahris Common Playground, one can play several classic fun, simple arcade games (similar to snake, tron, tetris, rampart, thrust, pong, and bomberman). In the multiplayer mode, each of the players can play a different game on the same area, which may lead to funny interactions. TCP/IP is supported.
  • Vectoroids
    Vectoroids is a vector-based rock-shooting game similar to the arcade classic "Asteroids".
  • Voxeliens
    Voxeliens is a retro-style arcade shooter for the PC, in which you defend your planet from waves of descending enemies. The gameplay is simple and fast paced as you battle your way through different environments using a variety of powerups. Think Space Invaders would have been better in 3D?

    X-Bomber is a multi-player maze-style game where players collect and drop bombs, in an attempt to blow each other up. Last player standing wins! X-Bomber is vaguely based on "Atomic Bomberman" by InterPlay and "Bomberman" by Hudsonsof. It is played on a grid, rather than with smooth movement.

    In X-Crillion you control a colored Ball through a Labyrinth of stones.To win a level you have to destroy the spider-stones and scorpion-stones in each level, but beware some stones will not bring the victory.

    XBlast is a multiplayer only game inspired by classic games like Bomberman+Dynablaster.
  • XBoing
    XBoing is a blockout type game where you have a paddle which you control to bounce a ball around the game zone destroying blocks with a proton ball. Each block carries a different point value. The more blocks you destroy, the better your score. The person with the highest score wins.

  • XBubble
    XBubble is an X Window based clone of the famous arcade game Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bubble. You can play it alone, against an opponent, or even against the computer. It has nice scalable and customizable graphics.

    XGalaga++ is a classic vertical scrolling shoot'em up. It requires no X Window extension and supports any window size. It is inspired by XGalaga, but rewritten from scratch, expect for the sprites graphics.

    XRally is a linux clone of the classic Rally X arcade game.

    XTux is an overhead scrolling arcade game for X11 featuring everyone's favourite opensource characters. Released under the GPL.

    Z-lock is a Japanese shooter with a twist: your shot power is directly proportional to the number of enemies locked on to you.
  • Zatacka
    Zatacka is open-source clone of classical dos game Achtung die Kurve. You handle the line using two keys or mouse buttons (to turn left and right) and you must sidetrack lines of other players and, of course, hit on wall or barrier.
  • zblast
    zblast is a simple but fairly manic shoot-em-up. There are versions for both svgalib and X.
  • Zloe
    Zloe is a fun, arcade-style shooting game which puts two networked players head-to-head in a shooting deathmatch set in a graphically rich 2D battleground.
  • Zlog
    Zlog is a 2D platform game engine using the Allegro game programming library which takes ideas from old games such as "Capt'ain Comic" and "Jazz Jack Rabbit".
