  • A.T.Edit
    A text editor worked on X Window System and Microsoft Windows. It is developed by Tcl/Tk and distributed under the GNU General Public License Version 2.
  • Alphatk
    (shareware) Alphatk is most useful for programmers, those writing a lot of TeX or LaTeX documents, and for editing of HTML source files. It has very rich features to aid in writing and editing files of those document types. In addition to those, the programming languages strongly supported are C, C++, Java, Tcl, Perl, Matlab.

    A group of applications written in Tk/Tcl and some libraries that they share. The major application at this point is a text editor, aqedit. It supports multiple modes for editing different kinds of files, and has extensive support for multi-font text and hypertext.

  • GNU Moe
    GNU Moe is a powerful, 8-bit clean, text editor for ISO-8859-15 and ASCII character encodings. It has a modeless, user-friendly interface, online help, multiple windows, unlimited undo/redo capability, unlimited line length, global search/replace, block operations, automatic indentation, word wrapping, directory browser, duplicate removal from prompt histories... Moe tries to rationalize the keyboard commands. The Alt key is used for harmless commands like cursor movements and scrolling. The Control key is used for more "dangerous" commands like copying text blocks, deleting lines, or exiting. The Tab key is used for filename completion and also shows/hides the directory browser. In any case, the unlimited undo/redo capability of Moe makes very difficult to accidentally cause an irreparable damage to your files.
  • KAKE PAD
    A graphical text/file editor written entirely in Perl a raphical text/file editor written entirely in Perl with the PerlTk module.The text/file editor provides some adavnced features that make it good for writting and debugging Perl and other types of scripts easily.
  • LinuText
    LinuText is a text editor for Linux written in Tcl/Tk. It has all the basic features of the major text editors and can edit many files at the same time.
  • ML Text Editor
    ML Text Editor isdesigned for editing tcl/tk source files, it can however edit any text file. This editor displays a list of procedures in the file and provides the ability to go to them with the click of a button.
  • ObjEd
    ObjEd stands for Object Editor. It's the working title for a project to create a different kind of editor.
  • TCL TextEdit
    Tcl TextEdit is a simple and powerfull texteditor entierly written in tk/tcl scripting language (no compilation required). It aims to be a programming editor.
  • Tcltexed
    A "simple" text editor which is based on the script language Tcl/Tk. It includes syntax highlighting, auto-completion, and online help (in both English and German) for LaTeX commands, inserting math symbols by pressing on picture buttons, and more.
  • Tk Notepad
    A simple notepad like editor written entirely in Tcl/Tk.
  • TK Scribe
    TK Scribe is a programmers text editor for Linux. It has many features inculding syntax highlighting (for TCL/TK) and unlimited undo/redo. Version 2.0 requires TCL/TK 8.1 or greater.
  • tkXMLiVE
    A Visual XML editor. 100% pure TCL/TK application. Used XML for manage GUI.
  • tpad
    tpad is a WinXP notepad enhanced clone entirely written in Tcl/Tk. It requires at least Tcl/Tk-8.4 and it's distributed in source format as a wish shell script and a library named tpad. It's goal is to be as similar as possibile to Notepad, with a most notable exception: tpad doesn't limit the size of the file to edit as Notepad does.
  • WISH Supernotepad
    A simple text and HTML editor written entirely in Tcl/Tk, with features including: Unlimited undo and redo , Single-click insertion of special characters, line number identification & conversion of plain text to simple HTML .
