  • Agata Report
    Agata Report is a cross-platform database reporting tool with graph generation and a query tool that allows you to get data from PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL, Informix, InterBase, Sybase, or Frontbase and export that data as PostScript, plain text, HTML, XML, PDF, or spreadsheet (CSV) formats through its graphical interface. You can also define levels, subtotals, and a grand total for the report, merge the data into a document, generate address labels, or even generate a complete ER-diagram from your database.
  • Flat File Extractor
    ffe is a flat file extractor, it can be used for reading different flat file structures and printing them in different formats. ffe is a command line tool developed in GNU/Linux environment and it is distributed under GNU General Public License 2 or later.
  • GRG
    GNU Report Generator: The GRG program reads record and field information from a dBase3+ file, delimited ascii text file or a SQL query to a RDBMS and produces a report listing. The program was loosely designed to produce TeX/LaTeX formatted output, but plain ascii text, troff, PostScript, HTML or any other kind of ascii based output format can be produced just as easily.
  • OpenRPT
    A graphical SQL report writer, designer and rendering engine, optimized for PostgreSQL. WYSIWYG display, GUI built with Qt, runs on Linux, Windows, Mac OS X. Server-side rendering engine. Reports can be saved as XML, either as files or in a database.
  • ora2html
    Ora2html collects information about the oracle installations found on a server and creates a report in either html or as plain text. Reports include information on both installed server software and configured databases, and tries to show relevant information in an easy to read fashion.
  • OraRep
    OraRep is a PL/SQL snippet (embedded in a shell script) which creates a well-formatted HTML report on a given database instance, providing you with an overview on your instance(s), some hints for performance tuning, and more. It has been tested with Oracle 8.1.7, 9.0.1, and 9.2. The script easily fits into a cron task to be run on a regular base. Sample output (HTML) is included. OSPRep does the same job for Oracle StatsPack Reports based on SnapShot Levels up to 7, and provides additional "plugins" for more detailed reporting on special issues. Plus, it optionally creates a separate page with charts to visualize the results and more.
  • Papyrus
    Papyrus is an XML reporting engine for Linux. Papyrus enables you to generate reports from a variety of different SQL databases. Your reports can be generated as PDF, PostScript, XML, HTML, DVI, Latex or straight ANSI text. Papyrus will correctly represent the reports in each of these outputted mediums with as much support as it can provide.
  • Report Manager
    Report Manager is both a print scheme designer (report) and a high level printing (reporting) engine. Also a TCP Report Server and a Web Report Server (PDF on the fly), supports Windows and Linux. Connectivity to almost all databases is provided.
  • RLIB
    RLIB is a report generator. By providing queries and XML Report definition files (headers, footers, breaks, columns, variables, expressions, presentation information) it produces reports.
  • weblog
    A parser for the raw Apache log data inserted into a MySQL database for which I use mod_log_sql.
