Apache
The Apache HTTP Server Project is an effort to develop and maintain an open-source HTTP server for modern operating systems including UNIX and Windows NT. The goal of this project is to provide a secure, efficient and extensible server that provides HTTP services in sync with the current HTTP standards. Apache has been the most popular web server on the Internet since April of 1996. The February 2005 Netcraft Web Server Survey found that more than 68% of the web sites on the Internet are using Apache, thus making it more widely used than all other web servers combined.     A very simple utility to convert a BlindWrite BIN image to the standard ISO-9660 format.
  • BashBurn
    A shell script created to make cdburning easier. You can burn audio-cds, data-cds, blank CDRW-discs and create (And burn ofcourse) ISO-files.
  • binchunker
    binchunker converts a CD image in a ".bin / .cue" format (sometimes ".raw / .cue") to a set of .iso and .cdr tracks. The bin/cue format is used by some popular non-Unix cd-writing software, but is not supported on most other CD burning programs.
  • Burn
    A simple program/script written in Python. It's aim is to make it simple and quick to burn CDs.
  • Burn-CD
    Burn-CD is a handy frontend for the well-known cd/dvd writing packages cdrtools & dvd+rw-tools. It's written in the Python programming language and intended for use on any modern GNU/Linux OS.
  • burn_baby_burn
    Contains a set of utilities for burning to CD-R and CD-RW media. The package allows one to easily perform tasks such as burning a directory, burning an audio CD, burning a CD image, and copying CD media from the command line. Also included is a backup script with the ability to burn "El Torito" bootable backup CD's.
  • CD Builder
    CD builder is a CD cue sheet and subcode generating tool for Linux/UNIX. Its goal is to generate subcodes for DAO and raw mode capable CD-R drives. It is based on GTK.
  • cdi2iso
    cdi2iso is a very simple utility to convert DiscJuggler image to the standard ISO-9660 format.
  • CDRX.pl
    Written as an alternative means of using an Memorex CRW-1622 CD Re-Writer with the Linux (and *BSD) Operating System.
  • cue2toc
    A free program for UNIX systems to convert CUE files to cdrdao's TOC format. Features include: support for complete set of CUE commands (e.g. catalog number, data and audio tracks, ISRC codes, CD-Text, Pre-/Postgaps (with zero data or data from file), subindexes etc.), automatic determination of session type and conversion of data files by user configurable commands based on file name extension matching.
  • DiscSpan
    DiscSpan is a tool that will take a large directory full of files and automatically burn a series of DVDs to near capacity, without the need for creating individual ISOs or moving files around. It is geared more towards smaller files such as music and photos, as it cannot span a file across multiple discs. It prompts for the directory you'd like to back up, the device to use to burn, and the speed at which to burn. It analyzes the files and calculates how many DVDs are needed, while making sure no files are greater than the size of a DVD.

    geteltorito extracts the initial/default boot image from a CD if it exists.
  • ISO Master
    ISO Master is a graphical editor for ISO images with support for ISO9660, RockRidge, and Joliet file names. It is useful for extracting, deleting, or adding files and directories to or from an ISO image. It is based on the bkisofs and GTK2 libraries.
  • Kripper
    A GUI front end for various command line tools which are used to rip VCDs & then to convert it to Divx & then burn the Divx files in to CDRW.
  • mdf2iso
    mdf2iso is a very simple utility to convert an Alcohol 120% bin image to the standard ISO-9660 format.
  • mkat
    mkat is a set of command line tools for burning and cataloging data CD/DVD and audio CDs. The catalog can later be searched for certain files or an audio CD. Tags can be used to categorize CD/DVDs, e.g. comedy, drama, kids, sports. mkat is configured to use cdrecord/growisofs and mkisofs to do the real work, but it should be possible to configure it to use arbitrary programs.

    mkcd comprises a simple no-brainer data CD burning kit for those who prefer the command-line.
  • mp3ai
    mp3ai is a small C program to burn audio CDs starting from MP3 files. The main goal is to show the total playtime of the target files but it also displays general information about mp3 files.
  • mp3isofs
    A patch for mkisofs; it allows you to burn files in alphabetical order on your CDs.
  • mp3rlburn
    mp3rlburn is a small tool for burning audio cd´s from mp3s with cdrdao. It is able to set the CDTEXT from the ID3 Tags of the mp3s. It sorts the files after the Tracknumber Tag.
  • MyBashBurn
    MyBashBurn is the version/fork stemming from the CD burning shell script called BashBurn. MyBashBurn uses dialog boxes/functions which draws (using ncurses) windows onto the screen. MyBashBurn dialog boxes offer good functionality, and has very good capabilities of automatically finding dependencies and auto detecting devices CD/DVD RW. MyBashBurn can burn data Cd's, music Cd's, multisession Cd's. It can burn and create ISO files. It can burn bin/cue files, create mp3s, oggs and flac files. Supports burning DVD-images and data DVDs, and other funny options.
  • nrg4iso
    nrg4iso is a command line utility that enables you to convert a Nero CD image file (.nrg) into an ISO 9660 CD image file. The utility handles all DAO and TAO data images. Audio images are currently not supported.
  • PSXImager
    PSXImager is a collection of tools for dumping and (pre-)mastering PlayStation 1 ("PSX") CD-ROM images.
  • shn2make
    shn2make works with sets of shn audio files and the make program to automate the process of burning CD-R's and encoding mp3 and ogg files from sets of shn audio files.
  • tocgen
    A versatile command-line cdrdao toc file generator. It is particularly good for transferring tapes/LPs to CD. Busy (or lazy) people can break live tapes into regular sized tracks with ease while perfectionists can split tracks with great precision. It's more flexible than tocmake and may be more swift and certain than wavtoc.
  • Vistag
    Vistag is a full-featured massive audio ripping tool. It can be clustered over many computers and many CD reading/writing devices, uses a nice little language for tagging, and is built around the Ogg Vorbis codec and tag system.
