PDF Chain – graphical user interface for the PDF Toolkit (PDFtk)

PDF Chain is a graphical user interface for pdftk written with gtkmm.

You can merge some pdf files to one pdf file or split, set background/stamp or add attachments to one pdf file.

There are also some options and tools.

Features include:

  • Merge PDF files into to one (maximum of 26 files):
    • Select several or contiguous pages.
    • Select even, odd or all pages.
    • Rotate selected pages in 0°, 90°, 180° or 270° grades.
    • Setting input passwords.
  • Split one PDF file into separate pages.
  • Add a background or a stamp to a PDF file.
  • Add attachments to a PDF file.
  • Setting permissions for output PDF file:
    • Setting rights.
    • Setting user and/or owner password.
    • Setting encryption.
  • Tools:
    • Extract Attachments.
    • Uncompress / Compress.
    • Dump Data Fields.
    • Dump Data.
    • Update Info.
    • Generate FDF.
    • Fill Form.
    • Flatten.
    • Drop XFA.
