AAAC Metropolitan Chicago's only all-Apple II User Group, the Aurora Area Apple Core. APLUG Eastern Illinois University Apple Users Group does not have a "specific" meeting time. Since the group includes faculty, support staff and other members of the university community, all with different work schedules, the group uses a floating meeting schedule so that members have a greater opportinity to attend a meeting. CHIFCPUG The Chicago Final Cut Pro Users Group (CHIFCPUG) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the education and development of its members through the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience. CIAMUG Central Illinois Apple & Macintosh Users Group meets at Dynamic Graphics (6600 N Forest Park Dr, Peoria, IL) at 6:30 PM on the second Monday of each month. Clan Macintosh Clan Macintosh is an informal group founded in June, 1984. We are dedicated to local area Macintosh users, both newcomers and oldtimers. Our meetings are held on the third Saturday of every month, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. We meet in the third floor cafe at 9933 N. Lawler, Skokie. CUCUG The Champaign-Urbana Computer Users Group was formed in 1983 to promote computing and education for users of personal computers. We currently support Macintosh, Windows and Linux personal computers. We hold our meetings generally the third Thursday of each month at the First Baptist Church of Champaign/Savoy which is located at the corner of Prospect and Burwash in Savoy. DAUG DuPage Apple User Group meets at the Jewel/Osco meeting room (4 East Cass Ave, Westmont) FVMUG The Fox Valley / FermiLab Macintosh Users Group holds meetings on the first Monday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 in the Lederman Science Center at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia. IMUG Illinois Macintosh User Group meets quarterly and has informal monthly gatherings at Panera Bread Store, Rt. 59 at Caton Farm Rd. at 6:30pm on the first Monday of each month. LAUG Lincolnwood User Group meets once a month at the Lincolnwood Library. Macadamia Macadamia is the McHenry County region Apple Computer user group. Our purpose is to help Macintosh computer owners learn how to use and maintain their computers. We meet once a month on the third Saturday at McHenry County College. Meetings start at 9:30 a.m. and usually last about 2 hours. MacWarriors MacWarriors is both the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus Macintosh Users Group and a special interest group of the UIUC Association for Computing Machinery. Meetings are every Saturday at 3pm in the ACM office (1104 Siebel Center). MAUG Kankakee Area Mac Users Group MuMug Millikin University Macintosh User Group is an extremely informal gathering of faculty, staff and students interested in all things Mac. SSMUG South Suburban Macintosh Users Group is a community-based group of over one hundred Macintosh users. General meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of each month from 7-9 PM at various sites, including Grande Prairie Library, 3479 West 183rd Street, Hazel Crest, Prairie State College, at Vollmer and Halsted in Chicago Heights, and Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, Homewood. TNWoU The NorthWest of Us is the largest Macintosh computer user group in Illinois. With 100-200 people attending each monthly meeting, we are the largest attended Mac User Group in the Midwestern U.S. Monthly meetings are open to the public with membership drawn primarily from the city of Chicago. TRoU The Rest of Us is the Chicago Macintosh User Group. Meetings are held at 6 pm in the 2nd floor auditorium of the Apple Store, 679 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago.
