The Stanford/Palo Alto Macintosh User Group provides a shareware CD, monthly newsletter, Q&A, Mac mentors and more. SMUG general meetings are generally held on the first Monday of each month at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC), Panofsky Auditorium,2575 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park.
The Serious Mac User Group (SMUG) was also known as Newton's Fruit User Group (NFUG). We meet the second Wednesday at 7:30 PM (19:30) PST at McDonalds, 19200 Bear Valley Road, Apple Valley, California.
Sierra Macintosh User Group meets every 2nd Tuesday of each month at Avery Middle School, 7:00 pm, in the Library.
The Senior Macintosh Users Group of La Verne is open to anyone who wishes to attend. Most of our members are eligible to receive Senior Discounts at nearly all restaurants, but "youngsters" who want to join us are welcome to come. We meet at the La Verne Community Center on D Street, just south of Foothill Blvd, at 12:30 PM the second Monday of each month, in the city of La Verne in the San Gabriel Valley.

Silicon Valley Mac User Group originally started in the early 1990s as the South Bay branch of BMUG (Berkeley Mac User Group), offering San Jose and Silicon Valley people a way to attend BMUG meetings without making the trek to the main meeting up in Berkeley.

The Temecula Valley Macintosh User Group is a non profit association dedicated to help Macintosh users in the Temecula Valley and surrounding areas. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Macintosh Computers or technology.
