Fish Fillets - Next Generation
Fish Fillets - Next Generation is a Linux port of the puzzle game Fish Fillets from ALTAR interactive. The goal in every of the seventy levels is always the same: find a safe way out. The fish utter witty remarks about their surroundings, the various inhabitants of their underwater realm quarrel among themselves or comment on the efforts of your fish.   • BetterZip
    (commercial) BetterZip lets you open archives without immediately extracting them. This is much faster and you don't have to remove the extracted files and folders after using them. The currently supported archive formats are: ZIP, TAR, GZip, BZip2, CPIO, RAR, and 7-Zip.
  • Bezipped
    Bezipped is a file compression and archive utility built on top of the bzip2 command line tool.
  • CreaDMG
    CreaDMG is an application for archiving files into virtual disk images. It has many features: for example you can choose different image formats and options for compression, write protection and encryption. CreaDMG is a frontend for the shell tool hdiutil, a part of Mac OS X itself.
  • CreateDiskImage
    CreateDiskImage is an Applescript droplet that lets you easily create highly compressed disk images without the need to go through Apples Disk Utility application, by using "Drag & Drop".
  • DropDMG
    (commercial) DropDMG creates Mac OS X disk images. Just drag and drop a folder or file, and DropDMG will create an image in .dmg, .img, or .smi format?or a Tar, Zip, or StuffIt archive.
  • GUI Tar
    GUI Tar is a wrapper application which acts as the front end to the tar, gzip, and bzip2 UNIX utilities. The operating system itself handles the complicated work, while GUI Tar provides a pleasant and easy method to interact with these system tools. GUI Tar is divided into two sections: Extractor and Compressor.
  • iTar
    iTar is a GNU tar frontend. Drag and drop files or folders into the image and get them archived in tar format and optionally compressed with gzip, bzip2 or unix compress.

  • StuffIt Deluxe

    StuffIt Expander lets you expand and decode all the files you download from the Web or receive in your email. Access StuffIt files, uncompress Zip archives created by WinZip and other zip utilities, decompress tar, gzip and bzip archives, and more. Just drag, drop, and you're done! From BinHex to Zip, StuffIt to MIME, Expander accesses more formats, in less time, with zero hassles.
  • The Unarchiver
    The Unarchiver is a much more capable replacement for "", the built-in archive unpacker program in Mac OS X. The Unarchiver is designed to handle many more formats than BOMArchiveHelper, and to better fit in with the design of the Finder. It can also handle filenames in foreign character sets, created with non-English versions of other operating systems.

    unpkg unpacks all the files in a MacOS X package (.pkg file) into a folder.
  • Untar
    Untar is a wrapper application which acts as the front end to the 7za, tar, gzip, compress, bzip2, rar, and zip utilities. These utilities handle the complicated work, while Untar provides a pleasant and easy method to interact with the system tools.
  • YemuZip
    YemuZip is a simple, no-frills, easy-to-use application for making zip files. YemuZip sports Yellow Mug's signature intuitive user interface, and it is free of charge for personal use.
  • Zip Tools
    Zip Tools is a command line tool to zip and unzip files.
  • ZipCleaner
    ZipCleaner removes .DS_Store and other resource files from Finder created zip archives
  • Zipeg
    Zipeg allows you to quickly and easily open and explore content of archives, preview files and images before you extract them. Extract only the files you want.
  • Ziplight
    Ziplight makes zip files searchable on Tiger with this free Spotlight plugin!
  • ZZip Utilities Plugin
    ZZip Utilities Plugin leverages zziplib to provide a simple interface for extracting individual files inside standard zip archives.
