  • AlmostVPNPRO
    AlmostVPN is an SSH tunnel manager with a twist. It is packaged as a Preference Panel, so you do not have to use yet another application to configure your tunnels. Instead, it uses creative network configuration techniques to provide almost VPN-like access to remote services, so you can keep using real IP addresses and port numbers while accessing service on the other side of your tunnels.

    Bosco's Screen Share is a free, easy way to share your computer's desktop with your friends. Bosco's Screen Share runs on Mac OS X, Mac OS Classic, and Windows, allowing you to share desktops regardless of platform choice.
  • Chicken of the VNC
    Chicken of the VNC is a VNC client for Mac OS X. A VNC client allows one to display and interact with a remote computer screen.

    (shareware) Hostal allows easy control and editing of the Host file on your computer. Hostal supports both host mapping and host blocking. Hostal supports Time to Live to prevent stale host mappings. For users on a network, Hostal detects an existing Hosts file and incorporates those settings as well.

    Schnitz Remote Lite is a free version of Schnitz Remote that allows you to connect to a computer of your specification.
  • teleport
    teleport lets you use a single mouse and keyboard to control several Macs. Simply reach an edge of your screen, and your mouse teleports to your nearby Mac, which also becomes controlled by your keyboard. The pasteboard can be synchronized, and you can even drag & drop files between your Macs.
  • Tiffany Screens
    Tiffany Screens is a presentation tool, able to capture the content of the presenter's screen and send it to multiple other computer screens at the same time. Any computer can seamlessly become the presenting computer, no matter if connected wirelessly or through an Ethernet cable.
  • TSclientX
    TSclientX is a Windows Terminal Services client for Mac OS X. It appears to be a regular Mac OS application but is in fact an assembly of free software working in concert to provide similar (better?) functionality to the official Remote Desktop Connection from Microsoft. Additionally, there is a nice tidy VNC Viewer built right in as well.

    WinJack is a remote control tool. It allows Mac OS X users to navigate trough files and volumes on a Windows based machine, delete, move, rename, remotely open, cut/copy/paste, and show/hide them, even eMail them, as well as browse trough and manipulate the Registry.
  • Zoom
    Zoom is a tiny app to create session bookmarks for ssh and telnet connections. Several per session options can be defined.
