ExactScan

ExactScan is a versatile document scanning and management solution for small and home offices as well as workgroups. ExactScan allows to capture documents from mid-range up to high-speed duplex document scanners at full speed while optimizing the document on-the-fly. It features a unique file name control as well as saving to PDF as well as TIFF, JPEG, JPEG2000 and PNG bitmap files. ExactScan allows performing state of the art image processing including automatic cropping, deskewing, dynamic thresholding for perfect black and white documents as well as descreening print rasters. It automatically adjusts images to optimum color balance, which reduces the need to manually do this in Photoshop. VueScan includes built-in color calibration of scanners, producing colors that look true to life. Supporting more than 100 brands of negative film, VueScan offers options for scanning faded slides and prints, batch scanning, IT8 color calibration and other advanced scanning features.
