My favorite three responsive web design frameworks are Bootstrap, Foundation and Gumby, in that order. But sadly, development of Gumby has recently ceased. And these frameworks aren't necessarily the right solution for every project. For example, if you want to rapidly create a responsive design in the shortest possible time, you should consider a lightweight framework.

  • Ignazio The Frog
    (commercial) a curious one. He wants to discover 25 beautiful images of flowers and cute animals, avoiding dangers like boulder and yellow stars. As he walks on the map, he reveals pieces of the image behind it, in a sort of pacman clone
  • l1neum
    l1neum is a Qix/Volfied space game. Your task is cutting off parts of the terrain. Hold down the Spacebar and move into the battlefield. As you reach the wall in a different spot you have cut off parts of the terrain. Your aim is to cut off more than 80% of the battlefield. When you enter the enemy's territory, you are susceptive to attacks by the enemy.
  • ManiacMarble3D
    ManiacMarble3D is an OpenGL remake of a well known game concept. The player has to guide a marble from the start to a target point in a 3D environment. The tricky part of the game is the constant fight against the gravity because the marble has to be moved across small platforms in the sky.
  • MarbleX
    (commercial) an all new implementation of one of the most popular NeXTSTEP arcade games. Totally redesigned with a bright new Aqua interface, and sporting all new graphics and new game-play levels
  • Mechanoid
    Mechanoid is an addictive new arcadegame. Binary elements on the loose in your circuits! Control your pod to catch them with the fitting nuts.
  • Mike's Arcade
    (shareware) has several games inspired by classic arcade gaming
  • Nerak Attack
    Nerak Attack is a sort of a clone in the vein of Galaga and Galaxian.
  • Open Mortal
    Open Mortal is a parody of the popular coin-up game, Mortal Kombat. It is currently playable (maybe even enjoyable), although it is still under development. Only two-player game is supported, single-player games against computer opponent is not planned yet. There are currently 8 playable characters, and 6 more in the making.
  • Privateer Remake
    A remake of Privateer using VegaStrike. Privateer is a classic old DOS game in the tradition of Elite, where you start off with a beat up spaceship and a couple credits and you have to trade and work your way up.
  • RoX
    (commercial) a modern implementation of a classic arcade theme. Alien invaders are hurling space rocks at the Earth. Your small fleet of spacecraft and your skill stand between Earth and oblivion. Shoot everything that moves, and dodge the rocks and alien missiles. Beware the alien space mines
  • Snake Quest
    offers a unique challenge to gamers at all levels. Start off with the tutorial levels to get yourself accustomed to various obstacles in Snake Quest or dive right into the action with the single player level set
  • Sosume
    Sosume is a fairly 'no frills' version of Tetris. Features include: Hardware accelerated OpenGL graphics, Tuneable movement speeds for the hardcore player, and connectivity to the Simian Games server for global high scores.
  • Sporktris
    Sporktris is a clone of Tetris-clones. It is meant to be fun, functional, and pretty, with as little annoyance as possible.
  • Tilt Mania
    Tilt Mania uses the sudden motion sensor (SMS) of modern apple laptops. It's similar to BubbleGym in that it uses the computer itself as an input device, however it is freeware.
  • Tunnel
    A tribute to Tunnel, a arcade game one can play on an hp48 calculator.
