  • AVR32 Network Gateway design kit
    A low cost design kit based on Atmel's 2-bit AT32AP7000 application processor. The kit includes a PCB with the AT32AP7000 application processor and a full port of royalty-free peripheral drivers, protocol stacks, and communications applications. The Network Gateway kit demonstrates the ability of the AVR32 and its embedded Linux® kernel to handle high-speed serial communications including bridging between interfaces that run incompatible serial protocols.
  • Chumby
    The Chumby is an embedded computer consumer product (made by a company of the same name) intended to provide user-friendly Internet and LAN access via a wireless Wi-Fi connection. It is intended for home use and consists primarily of a small touch-screen in a soft fabric package. It is lightweight and easily moved. It uses AC power and turns off if unplugged and moved, so an optional 9-volt battery can be used to provide backup power.

    DSPdap provides hardware and firmware for a DSP-based digital audio MP3 player with USB pen drive functionality using a 16-bit fixed point Texas Instruments TMS320 C55x DSP and CompactFlash card.
  • FLASH-PLAICE
    FLASH-PLAICE is a powerful in-circuit development tool that combines the features of a flash programmer, an emulator, and a high speed multi-channel logic analyzer into one device. It runs uClinux. The logic analyzer features up to 200MHz sampling rates and up to 32 input channels. The logic analyzer Java client features support for up to 200MHz sampling rates, user controlled filtering operations, time line in diagram, metadata (size, rate, and trigger position) stored in files, an ID command for device identification, configurable serial port transfer rate, user configurable drawing modes (logic level, hex value, and scope), and Java client access via almost any PC with a serial port. The Java client uses the RXTX serial library with support for 34 platforms including Linux, Windows, and Solaris. Java client plugins include an SPI and I2C bus protocol analyzer, timing analysis to state analysis conversion, and post-processing functions.
  • i2c-tiny-usb
    The i2c-tiny-usb is a open source/open hardware project. It is meant to replace those i2c printer port interfaces often used to connect i2c sensor chips (e.g. temperature sensors) to a Linux PC. It is fully documented and based on cheap and easy to obtain hardware. It comes with a Linux kernel driver, and can thus re-use existing Linux i2c client chip drivers.
  • InstantUSB
    allows the rapid addition of USB to virtually any device. Housed in a compact SMD package the QS module provides a complete solution for converting between USB and logic level serial sources. The module can be directly connected to virtually any serial device including microprocessors, RS232/RS485 level converters, or Linx wireless RF modules
  • lcd2usb
    The lcd2usb interface is meant to replace existing printer port solutions to connect those ubiquitous hd44780 based text LCDs with an up-to-date USB solution. The lcd2usb comes with fully documented hardware schematics and software drivers. It is supported by lcd4linux. lcd2usb is easily accessed using libusb, and the included demo application runs under Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.
  • M-Play
    M-Play utilizes the AMV format to display the MP4 video it on the Mplay MP4 player. The Player is 100% compatible with Linux operating system, and was developed on a multi-platform base.
  • MediaMVP
    The Hauppauge MediaMVP is a network media player. It consists of a hardware unit with remote control, along with software for a Windows PC. The MediaMVP uses the IBM STB02500, a PowerPC 405 CPU integrated with functionality especially suited for use in set-top boxes, like MPEG2 decoder, and runs on Linux-based firmware.

    Netflix Player is aset-top box aimed at enabling subscribers to stream movies on demand, using a broadband Internet connection.
  • Peartree
    Peartree is a Reference Platform and development kit for Intel's ultra-low-power Atom Centrino processor - previously codenamed Menlow / Silverthorne.

  • Slacker Portable
    The Slacker Portable offers a mobile version of Slacker's Web-based Slacker Personal Radio browser. It runs Linux on an undisclosed processor. Available with 2-6GB of flash storage, it is equipped with a four-inch 480 x 272 color display, an add-to-favorites button shaped like a heart, as well as a button for deleting songs.
  • SMS FoxBox
    SMS FoxBox is a compact and low cost solution to send and receive SMS messages using a commercial SIM card. It includes a GSM quad band modem, a SD/MMC memory card to store the messages (up to 1 million with the default 512MByte card) and a Linux systems to manage the SMS queue by means of an easy to use Web interface.
